Notes:
This is the recommended treatment program for this year:
1. Whole-lake Sonar treatment (liquid and slow-release pellets) at drinking water-safe concentration (<20 ppb)
2. Dug Pond treatment with diquat for Brazilian elodea (and Sonar if fanwort is detected)
3. Release of purple loosestrife beetles. (This shouldn't cost us anything; the Conservation Commission works with a local woman who raises the beetles, under a State program, and the Commission would like to use our patch as a learning component of a school project.)
4. Treatment cost: $39,850 - $49,350
5. Final cost depends on whether Dug Pond needs fanwort treatment and whether entire Pond needs more than one booster treatment
