And here's what our 2010 survey told us about fanwort - though those of you who live on the Channel know how dense it is there.

It's cropping up throughout the Pond, but there's still much, much less of it now in the Main Pond than there was before we treated in 2005.

So I know I've heard some people grumble that it's just as bad as before we treated, but that's just not true when you look at the entire Pond.

Now we have a treatment plan for this year, but we'll get into that a little later, when we have the weed report.  So I'm going to turn to other components of our lake management program, just to put the treatment component into context.
