HYDRO-RAKING
The hydro-rake has been coming to the Pond every year or two for about 19 years. It's a big help in limited areas. It supplements othe weed management activities, but it's not a solution by itself. Individual shoreline owners, not the FPC, pay for hydro-raking.
It was impossible to hydro-rake last year, because of low water. I'll be in touch with shoreline owners later this summer about interest in hydro-raking this year. But I need your e-mail address for that - that's the only way you'll get the word.
