The event was held at the home of David and Katie Workman, 10 Azalea Drive. It was the 9th annual FPC picnic.

FPC President Steve Cotton called the formal meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. He thanked David and Katie, and welcomed residents who had recently moved to the Foster's Pond area.

Dave Brown gave the Treasurer's Report.

Steve reported on the results of algae treatment. He said that the Pond was treated with copper sulfate on July 12, after the concentrations of blue-green algae had soared way above the levels considered safe by public health authorities. He said tests after the treatment showed that algae densities had plummeted, and were now safe.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:15 p.m.
